— Limited Breeding Shares Now Available -- Painting Freedom, & Kolored by Krymsun
Introducing Painting Freedom, a uniquely colored 2003 Thoroughbred stallion (Jockey Club registered) now being offered to the public for the first time in over a decade.
For years, this stallion was used privately by warmblood and Thoroughbred breeders. He was never marketed to the stock horse world, which means his influence in AQHA and APHA is still virtually untapped — despite having the bloodlines and physical traits to truly make an impact.
⸻ What Makes Him Special Proven Hunter Under Saddle Bloodlines Painting Freedom is sired by Airdrie Apache and carries legendary Thoroughbred names such as: • Raise A Native • Mr. Prospector • Bold Ruler
These lines make him an exceptional outcross option for modern AQHA and APHA HUS mares — adding refinement, scope, and elegance without compromising temperament.
⸻ Dominant White Color + Safe Genetics • Carries both W20 and W22 dominant white genes • Loudly colored, yet negative for LWO (Overo) -- making him safe to breed to LWO+ and "hidden white"(untested) mares • Full panel tested N/N across all major equine genetic disorders
⸻ Registry Versatility As a Thoroughbred stallion registered with the Jockey Club, Painting Freedom can produce: • AQHA Appendix foals when bred to AQHA mares • APHA Regular or Solid foals when bred to Paint mares • Pinto-eligible foals • Ideal for Warmblood or Arabian crosses for sporthorse markets
⸻ Proven Fertility : I purchased this stallion in early 2025. He bred three mares this year, and all three settled on first cover. Despite being an ’03 model, he is still sound, healthy, and fertile — but time is limited if we want to preserve his genetics through frozen semen. ⸻ Investment Opportunity⸻
– Limited Breeding Shares To preserve his legacy and make him accessible, I am offering limited breeding shares: • $3,500 Buy-In(pay at one time) • Receive 10 breeding shares (can use for one or both stallions) • Shares can be used via: • Live cover (on farm in North Carolina) • Cooled, shipped semen (when available) • Frozen doses (if preserved — this is our goal) No expiration on breeding shares (buyer must cover frozen semen storage costs) This is a chance to secure 10 breedings at a significant discount (his traditional stud fee is $1,500/mare) — with flexible usage and transferable rights (with approval).
If you’re interested, have questions, or would like to collaborate — please reach out. I’m open to ideas and eager to work with breeders who see the potential in this incredibly unique stallion. Thank you so much for your time and consideration -- I look forward to connecting with you. — Ralena Smith Double Creek Farm 336-374-0296 (call or text) [email protected]
