If you are looking for a big, stout, been there and done that gelding that will take care of you or your little one here he is. I raised this guy, he is by good cruiser ( by zippos mr goodbar) and out of an ima big leaguer mare. He’s as humble as they come to handle or brush or bathe or pet on. 15.3h.
Totes saddlebags, rides alone or in a group, in the back or the front, right out of the stall or work him, if you want to play in the arena he knows all the commands.
He neck reins and rides bridleless and takes his leads, lopes off, was shown English, in hand ranch pleasure and competitive trail. He works off leg pressure. Side passes, lead changes, slow SMOOTH jog and rocking chair lope, he can canter, long trot, trail rides seasoned and SAFE everywhere. ridden in the Mountains and across trestles with bikes and hikers across rivers along the Highway wagon trains you name it.
You can Rope off him used to catch wild cows. Champion competive trail every time shown in the pleasure divisions. Used to pony and halter break babies. Rides English w/t/c. Been driven double. He stands 15.3. Pics on the wall are taken 2022 june. Field a month ago. Others were older.
Really. Ride him down the road with cars going by. Hes a good minded fellow even if I did raise him! Competed in his second ACTHA ride and went through ALL the obstacles.
So far hes completed the following obstacles from ACTHA(in addition to all of OUR obstacles on our trails too!)
-water crossing with culvert
-steep hill climb(40 feet)
-log sidepass and walk over
-step up platform, pivot, step off
-pick up hat with a stick from the ground(while on horse)
-open gate and sidepass through, pivot, close gate
-dismount, mount
-dismount, fly spray(while standing still) remount
-ride through a pass of 'vines' aka speghetti noodle streamers hanging down everywhere
-ride across stream, open mailbox and close, complete trot off course to marker
-trot over poles
