This trailer belonged to a friend of mine. Its been at my farm for a while, I was planning to sell my other 4H and keep this one, but it looks like it will be easier to sell this one instead of the other, as my other trailer needed some repairs and this one does not. I dont need two 4 horse trailers with living quarters LOL!
Located at my farm in Mt. Airy, NC zip is 27030. Can hold for pickup with payment in full. I can take credit cards through my website if you cover the 3% fee
2001 Hawk (equispirit) galvaneal frame with aluminum skin, full length awning, LQs with cowboy shower in first stall, lots of cabinet and storage space - fans in horse and sleep area run from battery or truck, rear tack is collapsible, floor is great in both the horse and the LQ area. Factory living quarters. Dividers are removable, the first one the "stud divider" goes completely down and long and I would move it back to the 2nd spot and I used it as a box stall hauling mares/foals many times. I have hauled 6 horses in this trailer with the rear tack out(its completely removable and this will fit a 4 wheeler and some side by sides too! The dividers collapse and can be used like a stock trailer.
I love that the escape door is on the same side as the LQ doors, and the awning is super long and goes all the way down the trailer over both doors. Its really handy because when at shows or camping, I can put all my gear(porta potty, generator, feed, buckets, racks, etc) in the first stall area and still have plenty of room to haul 3 horses. The hay rack is extra handy but I mainly used it for chairs, water, and the muck cart.
This is a reverse slant. If you've never seen one that just means that the door to the horse area opens on the left, tack on the right(at the back) and the horses go in with nose pointing to the right. Honestly I dont think they care what direction they are slanted in. Some say its safer, I have no idea. I just know the fiberglass roofs are the only ones I will ever have on a trailer since an accident many years that I came up to on the highway (they had a 2 horse hawk bumperpull) and the trailer had come undone from the truck and flipped on its side. usually the resuce would have to use a torch or saw and cut the metal which really really is dangerous for hte horse, to get them out... they were able to cut the fiberglass roof and the horse only had a few scrapes from the divider. It was amazing and sold me on the fiberglass roofs for good.
The Xtra wide horse area is 7'8 tall too, lined and matted, fiberglass roof, jack for TV antenna, portable fridge, microwave, closets, bed up top and below. Escape door same side as LQs door. Rear middle bar removable can load full size ATVs. It's an 01 tires are great and heavy load, pulls really well empty and full. I pull it loaded down with my F250 and it pulls and stops just fine. Lights, brakes and tires(even spare) are great.
Super long awning, and inside/outside speakers, cd player-radio inside.
Entire box length back to the edge before aluminum starts is -25'4"(not the nose) edge w/aluminum box 26'8" -32ft entire length of trailer (nose to tail) -12'9 LQs length (LW) 7'10" (SW) -7'8" inside horse box width(insulated) -The counter area w/sink is 5'3" -The sleep area height is 3'2" tall -Inside height is 7' tall -9'2" from cabinet to bed edge(under window) -Inside horse divider stall width 2'9" -8ft width of trailer -7'8" height to trailer -Hay Pod and ladder are in great shape. -fans in the horse area and the LQ area work off battery, lights work off battery -Hot water heater works great, theres a holding tank and input valves for hose hookup -long 30 amp electric cord works great, no issues. -wood panel floor, wood cabinets(not particle board) -lots of room to renovate, which was my intention! The closet area at the end of the bed/lower storage is plenty big enough for a shower! I added all the measurements below. -The step up height is 1'3" it used to have a ramp but its not on there anymore, another could be installed easily or you can just use it like it is like I have.
The flaws: the window at the top sleeping area, which is an escape window, is missing. A replacement can be obtained from equispirit/hawk company. It is missing the rear ramp(was taken off). A tree fell on the roof(which is fiberglass) and the trailer has a salvage title because of that - was professionally replaced and can't tell at all! Title in hand. Welcome to have the trailer inspected within 2 days of purchase. Questions, call
