Itisashame '06 APHA bay overo mare Click here for Bloodlines Priced under $3k located at a farm just down the road(10 mins from ours) we can get her and any others to my farm to view if you set up an appointment, or we can go there to show. The reason for not having a 'concrete' price is that depending on when you inquire, the price may change, up or down, due to training time, conditioning/appearance, etc.
"Shamey" has been used along with Maggie, Lady Bee and Rainey in a follow the leader trail riding program. They honesty all didnt have to do a whole lot of anything the last few years except stand still to be saddled, quietly tied to the hitch rails, and allow someone(usually with not much horse experience) "ride" or sit on them really, down the trail for 1-2 hours, wait a bit, then do it again. All these horses clip, bathe, load and trailer well. They're used to navigating through uneven terrain and crossing ditches and creeks. Not much other than that though, and they haven't been asked to go out of a little jog in a good while. All mentioned above as of June 15th have started refresher training. Depending on where they are in their training will largely determine what price they are when you call. They're economically priced, local horses that as of right now are just 'good ole country broke' as in get on and go. They don't know a whole lot about turning quickly, picking up leads or even loping, or maintaining one specific gait at a jog or trot. They are green at the ring work, but none have habits or anything dangerous about them...just a little 'dumb' about most regularly-asked horse cues. Safe, quiet, just right now don't know a lot. Shamey stands 15h. Would sell with a 1/2 price breeding to our Zippos Mr Goodbar cremello AQHA stallion, for a bay or palomino paint baby!
