Are you looking for a steady-eddie safe Trail Horse? Dude Ranch - hack string - guided trail ride kind, but rides off by himself just fine doesn't have a lot of fancy frills and buttons but goes where you point him… over the river and through the woods by himself or with a group, the same horse every time and the same horse whether you ride once every six months or every day. He's not Spooky In the slightest - you can drag logs and things with him or pony a horse off of him, well I do think he had quite a bit of handling buttons at one point in time in his life because he's been used more for guided trail rides and people who have not ridden, he's been very desensitized over the years, so bouncing and flopping around isn’t gonna have him taking off with you. He's a great beverage drinking Horse and we'll go all day long in the same speed he's unfazed by other horses running past him, he's quiet on the road traffic etc. He loads, he bathes, he's quiet to tack up and groom, he stands to get on and off of. He's right at 15 hands. Well not registered he is all quarter horse (stock type) he's not gaited. While not “western pleasure” luxary sports car geared(we do have some of those if that's more your style), he's more like that Jeep 4 x 4 type of ride. He's got a good mouth on him and while he is a young teenager he's not an ancient - he's got a 13-year-old set of teeth. He's clean legged and he's branded on his left shoulder (although it's hard to see if you're not right in front of him as it's in the white). I've had quite a bit of interest in this horse but it seems like what people are looking for is something that they can go show and this horse is not really a show Horse he doesn't know what a lead is there is no lead on the trail it's just lope or Canter The “contraption” that looks like a tiedown in the videos and pictures is not a tiedown - it's a German Martingale useful for softening horses that is gotten a little stiff over the years, but you can ride this horse with a halter and lead rope he's super gentle. He's been on the same farm for the last year and a half he's not been bounced or traded around, his clean legged he's not sick welcome to any vetting you'd like to subject him to. I've only had one person come out and look at this horse - after all the calls and messages everybody Is so excited nobody gets here to actually see him. The folks that did come look at them just needed a different style Horse for what they were shopping for wasn't anything to do with him per se other than it just wasn't a good fit - they need something more like a show horse turned trail horse, this guy is just A Trail Horse but he's very good at what he does. It's tough to find something that has the experience in the Miles and the background to be safe in all types of situations, that's what you buy when you buy a horse you buy their mind and how they handle things and you also buy the training and exposure that they've had over the years. This guy is mid four figures, starting with a four. Located at the farm in Lowgap, North Carolina. The picture in the field was snapped yesterday. With our consignment program he also carries our guarantee, if you get him and then he doesn't fit for what you're looking for - you won't be stuck with him 336-374-0296
