"Heat" came to Double Creek Farm after he sustained a pastern injury as a 2 year old and his riding career was "cut" short (no pun intended!). He was well started as a reiner and had a bright future ahead of him. After a year of rehabilitation, Heat is sound to breed and is pasture sound. He requires no special maintenance or supplements to stay comfortable.
Although he hasnt been able to be shown and probably never will be he has some strong, proven lines in his blood that surely will bring some great talent to the stallion choices on the East Coast for people to choose from. The pictures were taken after almost a year of stall rest and rehabilitation so he has some muscle atrophy from lack of conditioning but still is a fine built fella with lots to offer conformationally and a great disposition.
