Exciting News for 2025!!! (Click Here) Painting Freedom 16.2h Thoroughbred - APHA - PtHA - AWS Approved - ATOA Stallion "Freedom" is a beautiful example of elegance wrapped up in a painted package. He is one of the few black and white thoroughbred stallions in the world available to the public, and he does NOT carry OLWS(lethal white) so he is safe to breed your "colored" mares to. He has a sweepy, lovely trot and an uphill build with lots of impulsion. He sustained a career ending tendon injury in training as a youngster and sadly never was shown. I just acquired him late in the 2025 season, and all 3 mares I bred to him settled on the first cycle. He has produced foals in the speed events, a few on the track but mainly barrels and gymkhana - he has several competing in Hunter, Eventing and Dressage, and just now being "shown" to the APHA and AQHA side of the horse world. He is negative across the board for all the available to test for genetic diseases. Breeding an AQHA mare will allow the foal to be registered with AQHA (Appendix) as well as APHA, and Pinto(PtHA), he is also registered with the new American Tobiano and Overo Association. We do plan on enrolling him into the Arabian Sweepstakes Program as well. He is approved for AWS mares and has several warmblood crosses on the ground, and quite a few colored sporthorses. Painting Freedom stands 16.2h. Genetically, he carries black and not bay, so is base black(Ee aa) he also carries W20 as well as W22, he is NOT grey or roan, he is "Dominant White" which is a different classification in the paint and "spotting genes" available. For 2026 his fee will be increasing to $1500, you do have a chance to lock in this years fee by reserving a spot for your mare and pre booking. ~APHA or Pinto only mares can breed for $1k a mare, ~AQHA or Double Registered APHA/PtHA (or beyond) can breed for $1200 a mare** ~Warmblood and Sporthorse mares are $1200, ~Arabians and Thoroughbreds are $1200 I am not sure where he will stand next year(will be in NC but at home will not incur any chute or collection fees, if he is at a stallion station or haul in to collect will be a chute fee and shipping, likely not to exceed $500) We also are offering a 10 breeding "buy in" opportunity for a one time upfront $3500 you can secure 10 breeding shares for this stallion, or any other stallions in the Double Creek Farm Program. These can be used live cover on farm when available, shipped cooled, or frozen once we have that, and do not expire** . Please contact Ralena with any questions, 336-374-0296 Mare Care is available at the farm NC at $15/day dry, $20/day wet(foal at side) Vet fees billed directly to owner at time of service unless other arrangements have been made
