Now riding around nicely under saddle
This is going to be one heck of a performance horse! One of my best mares. She is one of the fastest horses I have ever been on, and that includes when I was smaller and used to run NBHA 1d cans, this mare is awesome. Shes a personal horse with no price tag and she can do that slow hobby horse lope, and cut loose like no bodys business. Ive won so much "hot dog" strip racing her that shes paid for herself almost two times! I crossed her on my buckskin stallion, CR Hes Good Money, and this colt right here will make someone one heck of a performance - do it all horse!
Hes not super tall but hes growing like crazy. Id say he is 15h now
Please contact for pricing on Double Creek's homebreds. Because we raise them, and do not buy them to resell, prices change. I might make a great show home a heck of a deal on a promising youngster to make room, I have babies coming and some I have more training and time into than others. As of January 2019 they have all been in the barn under lights and are at various stages of training. For that reason, they range from $1500 to $6500 right now depending on where they are in their fitting and training schedule. This is not a hidden pricing scale, and its not an unfathomable number either, but raising these you go past a point of no return... some we hold onto and keep on keepin on, some we can let go into great homes at great deals! "Why do you still have horses that are three, why have you not sold them already? " Some people may ask... I will give you a few reasons: - initially, this being my stallions first foal crop, I had a resident trainer and this crop was not even offered for sale. When he left, they were mid yearlings. At that point it was best to just sit tight. - after that stage, although many programs start as twos, most of mine were later foals and the last thing I wanted was a horse to get in a program and break down physically. So again, I chose to just hold onto them and feed them. Which leads us to now, with coming three year olds that are READY to go into a program physically and mentally. - Thank you for considering a Double Creek Farm baby. They will always be babies, even when they are 8 and 9 and showing in the upper levels... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- pics in ring taken April 2019
